Southern Starz reserves the rights to add, change or delete prizes as deem necessary in our prize package for any and all wininng contestants, with or without notification to contestants, winners, family, friends, sponors, staff and anyone affiliated with contestant in our competition and/or voters of Southern Starz. Plus you will be placed in the mix with several record labels, booking agency, management companies, record companies A&R,celebrity judges,staff and more. All shows are performed before a studio audience and taped for cable tv. Prizes May Change Without Notification. All photographs, videos, websites, voice recordings and promotional materials are the sole possession of Southern Starz. You may not use any materials without the consent of Southern Starz. Audition Rules & Regulations Terms used "us", "we", "it's" "our" refers to Southern Starz. "you", "contestants", "person" refers to any and all applicants, contestants, friends, family and winners of said competition. Southern Starz reserves the right to deny any person to enter into Southern Starz competition if we see such person is not qualified or doesn't possess the skills we are looking for in a contestant and any contestant at any time may be disqualified from competition if contestant does not abide by any rules of Southern Starz or doesn't appear during competition. All contestants and anyone affiliated with you must abide by said rules or will be disqualified from competition and escorted from facility. Southern Starz vocal performing tv series will last a total of 12 weeks. Shows may be held over if bad weather arises. An applicant must be at least 16 years of age and older. Anyone under the age of 18 must get written consent from a parent and a parent must accompany you at audition time, to every performance during the duration that you are in competition, any & all tapings, video shoots, photo shoots and all aspects thereof. You will need to submit an application to Southern Starz, and Southern Starz will contact you by email if we feel you possess the skills we are looking for in a contestant. At the time of audition, you will have 30 seconds to 1 minute to perform with your music. You must bring a 30 second to 1 minute track, your printed email that contains your number and a ID with you to audition. (Groups) If you are a group, we require that you have a group leader that will be responsible for other members of the group. A payment of $75 is required for each group. Groups are considered as 2 people or more. Southern Starz will not tolerate cheating, fighting, porn, sexual harrasment, weapons (of any kind), or any unlawful behavior. Contestant will be disqualified if such behavior is known. Because southern starz will air on tv we CANNOT allow profanity, racial slurs, gang signs and disrespectful lyrics towards female and children. Anyone at the time of performance that breaks these rules will be disqualified and anyone affiliated with you must follow these rules. Any person who enters into our competition will allow Southern Starz to photograph, voice record, video tape, give interviews and promote you as we see necessary. You will give Southern Starz and its affiliates permission to post such photographs, video and voice recordings, interviews and any other material we have or use of you and use all materials where we deem necessary to promote you, competition and Southern Starz without payment, written consent of any contestant, winner, family member, lawyer, or anyone affiliated with contestant or winner. We may use material (which may include, but not limited to) websites, cd covers, posters, video and voice recordings, commercials, radio or where Southern Starz deem necessary. You may not use any photographs, voice recordings, websites (yours or ours) interviews or video to promote yourself for promotions or voting in any way without the written consent of Southern Starz. You must agree that we will not pay you or anyone affiliated with you, for use of any video, photographs, websites, promoting, promotions or voice/video recordings we use of contestants, winners, your family, friends and anyone affiliated with contestants and winners. All photographs, videos, websites and voice/video recordings and promotional materials are the sole possession of Southern Starz. Contestants and winners must agree to perform before (but not limited to), judges, staff, video cameras, radio, a studio audience, websites and any other performance Southern Starz deem necessary to promote you and Southern Starz. (places of performances may change where we deem neccesary). You will be judged on appearance, voice, music, and other areas that we deem necessary to promote contestants and winners and advance you on to the next round of competition. Contestants and winners agree to dress and perform in said manner in order to continue in the competition, performance and promotions of you and Southern Starz. Any contestants or winners that does not abide by Southern Starz rules will be disqualified.You must agree to all terms to enter into competition and continue if you are a winner of Southern Starz.
